Clackamas County Event Center   694 NE 4th Ave, Canby, OR 97013

This show is all about gardens and what to put in them.  Come get a work of art and the perfect plants to put around the new focal point in your garden!  You'll also have the opportunity to listen to gardening lectures or ask a Master Gardner about your current plant quandary. For more information, check out this site:

Mt. Tabor Art Walk

May 18th & 19th, 10am-5pm both days
2311 SE 58th Avenue  Portland, OR (SE Hawthorne & 58th)

This is the second year I have done this wonderful show, hosted by the amazing and prolific watercolor artist, Mila Rapheal -  The art walk features a wide variety of media including: jewelry, painting, photography, metal sculpture, turned wood bowls, mosaics, and found object sculptures. I will be showing sculptures, planters, trellises, and some outdoor furniture this year.

Here's where you can get a copy of the art walk map, as well as, a preview of the showing artists:  Mila and I are at site 14 on the map, hope to see you there!

Vancouver Recycled Arts Festival

June 29th & 30th, Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 10am-4pm
Esther Short Park in Downtown Vancouver, WA

This will be my third year doing this great show - I just love the relaxed atmosphere!  There are so many creative re-purposed things to see (including some of my personal favorite fellow metal artists)... not to mention that the Farmers Market is held adjacent to the park at the same time - definitely a lovely way to spend the weekend with your family.

...and of course...

Cracked Pots

July 23rd & 24th, 10am-8pm both days (YES, it's on a Tuesday & Wednesday!)
McMenamins Edgefield (

I love this show!! It has a fun, playful energy with a dedicated following.  This show offers a great atmosphere and many one-of-a-kind art pieces.  All art is created using at least 80% re-purposed materials. The 'die-hards' know to get there early on the first day to get first dibs on all the exceptionally neat stuff.  The show runs late, so come on out after work, grab a beer or wine, and relax while you check out the art. Hope to see you at Edgefield!

Cracked Pots

at McMenamins Edgefield in Troutdale, OR

July 24th & 25th
10am - 8pm both days

Visit the Cracked Pots site at:

YES, it is on a Tuesday and Wednesday - that's because the show is so HUGE. If you have not been to this show before, I HIGHLY recommend going on Tuesday, the first day of the show. This is an extremely popular event and many of the one-of-a-kind items are sold on the first day, so if you want a chance to 'see it all' - go on Tuesday. Also, beginning at last year's show, Cracked Pots has expanded the show to include both indoor and outdoor art! I have done this show for the past five years and it is always a blast! Hope you can make it out.

I will be showing with Mila Raphael, a very talented watercolor artist, at location "24" on the map. This show has amazing fine art - paintings, jewelry, turned wooden bowls, found art sculptures, glass, and mosaic pieces (just to name a few!).  I would love to see some familiar faces out at the show!

2008 Show Schedule

Ok, so here are the shows I will be participating in this summer! Please keep in mind that ALL of these shows are juried art shows - which is good, and should mean that the caliber of the art work should be quite high!

Salem Art Festival
Bush's Pasture Park in Salem, OR

July 18th-20th
Friday & Saturday 10am - 7pm
Sunday 10am - 5pm

This show is huge! Over 109,000 people attended last year's show! It boasts artists of every media and is set amongst beautiful trees in Bush's Park.

Cracked Pots
McMenamin's Edgefield Lodge in Troutdale, OR

July 22nd & 23rd
Tuesday & Wednesday 1pm - 8pm
(yes, it is on weekdays - but that's because this show is so successful, they couldn't accommodate a weekend crowd! My friend came last year and thought there must have been a rock concert going on, but no, that was all the people coming to Cracked Pots alone!)

This show is so much fun to go to and to participate in! It is all about recycled art and it is all garden art specifically. Plus, you can grab a pint of beer to sip on while you walk around the grounds and check out all the cool art. Definately worth skipping work for!

Arts in the Forest
Mary S. Young Park in West Linn, OR

August 16th & 17th
Saturday & Sunday 10am - 6pm

This show is set in a heavily forested park with artists' booths lining the paths. There will also be performing artists there - I personally can't wait to check out the acrobatic tree dancers!

West Linn Arts Festival
Willamette Park in West Linn, OR

September 13th & 14th
Saturday 10am - 7pm
Sunday 10am - 5pm

This show will be in it's new location this year along the Willamette riverfront. They will have over a 100 artists and craftspeople displaying their art. They also will have some cool jazz bands I'm looking forward to!
