Mt. Tabor Art Walk

May 18th & 19th, 10am-5pm both days
2311 SE 58th Avenue  Portland, OR (SE Hawthorne & 58th)

This is the second year I have done this wonderful show, hosted by the amazing and prolific watercolor artist, Mila Rapheal - http://www.milaraphael.com/Pages/default.aspx  The art walk features a wide variety of media including: jewelry, painting, photography, metal sculpture, turned wood bowls, mosaics, and found object sculptures. I will be showing sculptures, planters, trellises, and some outdoor furniture this year.

Here's where you can get a copy of the art walk map, as well as, a preview of the showing artists: http://www.mttaborartwalk.com/Pages/default.aspx  Mila and I are at site 14 on the map, hope to see you there!

Vancouver Recycled Arts Festival

June 29th & 30th, Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 10am-4pm
Esther Short Park in Downtown Vancouver, WA

This will be my third year doing this great show - I just love the relaxed atmosphere!  There are so many creative re-purposed things to see (including some of my personal favorite fellow metal artists)... not to mention that the Farmers Market is held adjacent to the park at the same time - definitely a lovely way to spend the weekend with your family.

...and of course...

Cracked Pots

July 23rd & 24th, 10am-8pm both days (YES, it's on a Tuesday & Wednesday!)
McMenamins Edgefield (http://www.mcmenamins.com/54-edgefield-home)

I love this show!! It has a fun, playful energy with a dedicated following.  This show offers a great atmosphere and many one-of-a-kind art pieces.  All art is created using at least 80% re-purposed materials. The 'die-hards' know to get there early on the first day to get first dibs on all the exceptionally neat stuff.  The show runs late, so come on out after work, grab a beer or wine, and relax while you check out the art. Hope to see you at Edgefield!
